Thankful, thankful, thankful! The first day went well! I love seeing the kids excited to be back. From what I remember, many of them didn't like coming to programs because of bullying. Although it still happens sometimes, they've been a lot better.
On Monday nights we have "KG family dinner," where the children and leaders eat a meal together. We were worried there wouldn't be enough food because some of the chicken burgers were stolen from our shared freezer (unfortunately, theft happens often at this location). But thank God there was enough for the children to have seconds.
Thank you for all your prayers. Please pray that the children continue to understand greater of how much our Father loves them. Also that the children would grow in awe of wonder of Him. God is good.
