In my most recent newsletter I shared about how I really enjoyed spending time with our Jr. High students this past summer. It was a really good time to talk, laugh and experience life together. Spending time with the children and youth at our after-school programs this fall has again highlighted to me the joys of fellowship with one another.
It is really exciting to know that God loves community and loves spending time with us as well. We are all created in God's image and I think that we crave community because it is something that God desires also. I am really thankful for the community that I get to be part of at Willowtree because it is really encouraging to see how God is involved in times of fellowship with one another and is central to the sense of identity, encouragement and love that we receive from being part of a community that gathers in His name.
